Young SVP (Information For Students)
The Young SVP programme is free and non-competitive, placing young people at the centre of their own learning and promoting personal development. Throughout the year, participants receive continuous support from the Young SVP team, ensuring a positive and meaningful experience in volunteering and social action.
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of SVP, social justice, and how to engage in social action through a series of workshops, including:
- Introduction to SVP and Social Justice
- Becoming a Changemaker
- Poverty and the Cost of Living
- Power and Society
- Exploring Human Rights
- Social Justice and Equality
- Engaging in Social Action
These workshops are designed to provide participants with valuable insights and skills, ensuring their involvement in social action is both positive and meaningful.
Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to attend Young SVP events, where they can share their experiences and insights with other young people and leaders/teachers.
