We Had to Leave Our Home…
“Dear SVP,
Six months ago we had to leave our home. Now we’re living in a hotel, in homeless accommodation.
It’s me and my two boys, soon to be three. I’m seven months pregnant. I’m really dreading Christmas this year, to be honest with you. I’m coming to SVP because I don’t know what else to do…
I’m struggling to buy the baby clothes and a cot and pram. And after the massive back-to-school costs I had to pay in September, I’ve no money to spare for presents.
I know there are a lot worse off than myself right now, but if there’s any help you can give me, I’ll be so grateful.”
